Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terminology and definitions of fruit-flavored black tea, product classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document applies to fruit-flavored flavored black tea products. Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions and the following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Fruit-flavored black tea A flavored black tea product made from the buds, leaves, and tender stems of Camellia sinensis (Linnaeus.) O. Kuntze, with the addition of fruits and their products and/or food additives, and processed through specific methods to possess fruit flavors. 3.2 Additive-infused fruit-flavored black tea A fruit-flavored black tea product added with edible fruits and their products during the processing. Examples include green tangerine black tea, lemon black tea, and blueberry black tea. 3.3 Fragranced fruit-flavored black tea A fruit-flavored black tea product added with food additives such as fragrances and flavorings during the processing. Examples include mango-flavored black tea and sweet orange-flavored black tea. 3.4 Mixed-additive fruit-flavored black tea A fruit-flavored black tea product added with both fruits and their products and fragrances and flavorings during the processing. 4. Product classification Fruit-flavored black tea can be divided into three categories based on the source of its flavor: additive-infused fruit-flavored black tea, fragranced fruit-flavored black tea, and mixed-additive fruit-flavored black tea. 5. Requirements 5.1 Raw materials and additives Raw materials and additives shall comply with relevant national standards and regulations. 5.2 Sensory requirements The product shall meet the requirements specified in Table 1.
