Scope
This part of GB/T 35653 classifies image and regular grid thematic data based on their attribute characteristics, sensor types, and spatial features. It defines content models that are independent of the necessary components for each type of data and its encoding, and establishes logical data structures and rules for encoding content elements based on these structures. The binding of content to specific encoding formats will be defined in subsequent sections of this part. This part does not cover LiDAR and SONAR data, as well as grid data without geographic references. The logical data structures and encoding rules for content components will be defined in subsequent sections of this part.
