Scope: This document specifies the requirements for the transportation, harmless disposal, centralized processing, disinfection, personal protection, and record-keeping of dead sheep. The following terms and definitions apply to this document. - "Dead sheep" refers to sheep that die from disease, poisoning, or unknown causes, as well as those infected with diseases, failing quarantine inspections, or containing contaminated products. - "Harmless treatment" refers to the process of using physical, chemical, or biological methods to eliminate pathogens and hazards from dead sheep. - "Burying method" involves burying dead sheep in pits, covering them with soil, and disinfecting them. - "Biodegradation (composting method)" utilizes auxiliary materials such as rice husks and sawdust, combined with microorganisms to form a bedding layer. Through microbial degradation and high temperatures generated during the composting process, dead sheep are rapidly decomposed and harmful microorganisms are eliminated. - "Burning method" involves incinerating dead sheep in oxygen-rich or oxygen-free environments to oxidize or pyrolyze them. - "Centralized processing" refers to the method of entrusting professional institutions for the harmless disposal of dead sheep. 4. Transportation - Animal carcasses should be transported in sealed, non-leakage containers, and disinfected before and after loading. 5.
