Scope
Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements for integrated terrestrial-aerial-satellite monitoring of forest carbon sinks, where "terrestrial" refers to satellite remote sensing data, "aerial" refers to laser sensors carried by drones, and "ground-based" refers to ground laser scanning and carbon flux towers. This specification includes the system configuration and installation of terrestrial carbon flux towers, laser point cloud data collection and parameter calculation in forestlands, and feature extraction of satellite images. It also includes two calculation methods: the method of calculating forest carbon stocks by fusing laser point clouds and satellite images, and the method of measuring forest carbon fluxes by combining carbon flux towers and satellite images. This standard applies to the measurement and evaluation of forest carbon sinks at different spatial scales using methods such as carbon flux towers, laser scanning, and satellite remote sensing. Main technical content: The main content of this standard includes three commonly used methods: forest carbon flux towers, laser point cloud scanning, and satellite remote sensing for inverting forest carbon fluxes, carbon densities, and carbon stocks.
