Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and storage of bronze check valves for marine flanges in accordance with CB/T 4196 and GB/T 2501 (hereinafter referred to as check valves).
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of check valves used in piping systems for media such as freshwater, seawater, lubricating oil, fuel oil, and steam with a temperature not exceeding 250 °C.
