Scope
This standard specifies the allowable values of electromagnetic environmental interference for digital microwave relay stations, the requirements for the clearance zone in front of the antenna, and the methods for testing the electromagnetic environment of digital microwave relay stations.
This standard applies to stations of line-of-sight digital microwave relay transmission systems operating in the frequency range of 1 GHz to 40 GHz.
This standard does not apply to tropospheric scatter microwave stations.
