This standard applies to piqué yarns for knitting, which are made from ring-spun yarns, pure cotton yarns, cotton-polyester blends, pure chemical fiber yarns, and blends (including viscose fiber and acrylic fiber) with a base yarn of plain or colored yarn (with a piqué content of ≤3.0%).
