Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, construction standards, site selection, equipment configuration, personnel deployment, and duty management of township fire brigades.
This standard applies to full-time fire brigades and volunteer fire brigades established by local people's governments in accordance with Article 36 of the Fire Control Law of the People's Republic of China. Other forms of fire organizations, such as volunteer fire brigades established by villagers' committees and enterprises in accordance with Article 41 of the Fire Control Law of the People's Republic of China, may refer to this standard for reference.
