Scope

This document describes the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and high-performance liquid chromatography methods for the determination of dimethylbenzylamine, trimethylbenzylamine, and dimethylmethylbenzylamine in feed. This document is applicable to the determination of dimethylbenzylamine, trimethylbenzylamine, and dimethylmethylbenzylamine in compound feed, concentrated feed, supplementary feed, premix feed, and animal-derived feed raw materials. The detection limit of the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method in this document is 2.5 μg/kg, and the quantification limit is 5.0 μg/kg; the detection limit of the high-performance liquid chromatography method is 0.25 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.50 mg/kg.
