Scope

This standard specifies the objectives of increasing cotton yield and efficiency through lightweight and simple green production, the selection of cotton field planting systems, the requirements for cotton fields, variety selection, simultaneous sowing of seeds and fertilizers, reasonable densification, reduction and simplification of inputs, green prevention and control of diseases and pests, safe chemical weeding, regulation of plant types and maturity, centralized harvesting, and straw returning to the field, among other technical requirements. This standard applies to the Yangtze River cotton area, the Huai'bei cotton area, and the Jianghuai hilly cotton area.
