Scope
This standard specifies a method for estimating the radon 222 dissolution rate of uranium tailings (slag) based on parameters such as the activity of radium, the diffusion coefficient of radon 222, the gamma ray emission coefficient, and the dry density of tailings (slag).
This standard is applicable to the estimation of the average radon dissolution rate of uranium tailings (slag) in tailings (slag) storage facilities.
