Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations, ordering information, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for improving the formability of hot-rolled high-yield-strength steel plates and strips.
This standard applies to high-yield-strength hot-rolled steel strips with a thickness of 1.0 mm to 6.0 mm that require good formability, as well as steel plates cut transversely from steel strips and longitudinally cut steel strips (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates and strips").
