Scope

This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for detecting the content of lutein in feed, including reagents and solutions, instruments and equipment, preparation of sample solutions, chromatographic separation, determination, and result calculation. This standard is applicable to the determination of lutein content in single feed, concentrated feed, compound additive premixes, and natural lutein additive premixes. The quantitative limit of this standard is 0.5mg/kg.
