GB/T 18642-2021 Diagnostic techniques for Trichinella spp.
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and operating guidelines for the pathological diagnosis of Trichinella in livestock (pigs, horses, and canines) and wild animals, as well as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), fluorescence immunoassay test strips, and multiplex polymerase chain reaction (multiplex PCR) detection methods. This standard applies to pig origin quarantine, slaughter processing, epidemiological investigations, import and export inspection and quarantine, and other Trichinella diagnoses in animals and their meat. The methods listed include pathological, serological, and molecular biological diagnosis, including: -- Slide preparation microscopy and sample digestion methods are suitable for Trichinella diagnosis in pigs and other animal carcasses; -- ELISA and fluorescence immunoassay test strips are suitable for Trichinella screening in live pigs and other animals and their carcasses; -- Multiplex PCR methods are suitable for identifying the species and genotypes of Trichinella isolates.
