Scope
This standard specifies the basic content and requirements for the design of water treatment systems for new and expanded (or modified) industrial boilers. This standard applies to steam boilers and combined steam-water boilers with a rated outlet steam pressure of less than 3.82 MPa and using water as the medium, and also to fixed hot water boilers using water as the medium.
