Scope

This document describes the standard test conditions and test methods for the optical performance of electronic paper display devices (EPDs). This document is applicable to reflective monochrome or color passive field or active matrix electronic paper display devices. For electronic paper display devices containing integrated light source components (ILUs), the integrated light source components must be turned off during testing. This document is not applicable to products with color systems that include more than three colors.
