Scope
Scope: This standard defines the terms and definitions, pre-sowing preparation, sowing techniques, field management, pest and disease control, and harvesting for full-film soil-buried hole-sowing of winter wheat in the arid areas of Ningnan Mountain Region. This standard applies to the semi-arid and semi-humid arid areas of southern Ningxia with an annual rainfall of 300mm to 600mm. Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions: The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Dry land winter wheat: Winter wheat grown in semi-arid and semi-humid arid areas, relying on natural precipitation, sown in autumn of the previous year and harvested in summer of the following year. 3.2 Full-film soil-buried hole-sowing: A planting method that integrates rotary tillage, ridge formation, compacting, film covering, hole-making, precision hole-sowing, and soil-burial into a single operation using a dedicated rotary tillage-ridge formation-film covering-hole-sowing machine. 4. Pre-sowing preparation 4.1 Site selection: Select fields with gentle slopes, deep soil layers, and medium to high fertility and leveled surfaces. 4.2 Tillage: Mechanically till after summer crops are harvested, with a tillage depth of 25cm to 30cm to retain rainwater, expose compacted soil, and improve soil fertility. After rainfall, rake and level to conserve moisture. After autumn crops are harvested, rotary till and level to form a loose-compacted tillage layer, minimizing soil water evaporation. 4.3 Fertilization: Apply 2000kg to 3000kg of composted farmyard manure or 200kg to 300kg of commercial organic fertilizer per 667m2 before deep tillage and sowing. During sowing, separate fertilizer and seeds, with a fertilizer depth of 10cm to 12cm. All fertilizer is applied as seed fertilizer, and the amount is determined based on soil fertility and target yield. See the table below for details.
