Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terminology, requirements, and methods for phenotypic detection of rice breeding using low-altitude drone remote sensing technology. This document is applicable to phenotypic detection of rice breeding based on low-altitude drone remote sensing. Main technical content: 5. Requirements for drone equipment: 5.1 The drone should meet the following performance criteria: a) The payload must be greater than the weight of the airborne sensor equipment used; b) The flight endurance must be ≥15 minutes; c) The flight attitude should be stable, with error in tilt angle, pitch angle, and yaw angle ≤3°; d) It should be able to withstand level 4 wind; e) It should have autonomous obstacle avoidance functionality; f) It is recommended to use drones equipped with GNSS-RTK positioning technology, with horizontal positioning accuracy ≤3 cm and vertical positioning accuracy ≤5 cm; g) It should have a gimbal interface that allows secondary development, facilitating the expansion of mountable sensor equipment; h) It should have a gimbal extension module capable of mounting equipment and providing three-axis stabilization in roll, pitch, and yaw. 5.2 Outdoor environmental requirements: a) Temperature: 10°C–50°C; b) Wind speed: 0 m/s–8.0 m/s; c) Relative humidity: 0%–95%; d) Visibility ≥120 m; e) The solar elevation angle (the angle between the direction of sunlight incidence and the horizon) should be between 30° and 90°; f) It is recommended that the photosynthetically active radiation meter measure a range of 400 μmol·m-2·s-1 to 2200 μmol·m-2·s-1 of photosynthetically active radiation. 6. General requirements for drone remote sensing supporting equipment: Drone remote sensing supporting equipment consists of airborne sensors and auxiliary equipment. Airborne sensors should include RGB imaging sensors, multispectral imaging sensors, hyperspectral imaging sens
