GB/T 39982-2021 Water lubricated journal bearings—Test methods of load carrying capacity
Basic Information
Scope
This document provides a test method for the bearing capacity of radial sliding bearings under fully submerged hydrodynamic lubrication conditions. This document is applicable to high-molecular-weight, graphite, and rubber materials for water-lubricated radial sliding bearings with a diameter of less than 150 mm. This document is suitable for verification tests during the product design phase. Note: There are many factors that affect the bearing capacity of water-lubricated bearings. To ensure the adaptability of the test results to practical use, it is advisable to simulate the actual operating environment of the bearings as much as possible to obtain more reliable results. The different requirements in actual applications have promoted the development of various bearing capacity test benches for sliding bearings. If the lubrication conditions and test parameters used on these test benches are not specified in detail, the test results obtained on different test benches are usually neither comparable nor applicable in practice. The same bearing may yield inconsistent data on different test benches.
