Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents or materials, instruments and equipment, experimental procedures, result calculation, recovery rate and precision, and allowable deviations of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and high-performance liquid chromatography for the determination of dimethyl oxazolidinone, 7-ethyl dicyclohexyl oxazolidinone, and 5-bromo-5-nitro-1,3-dioxane in cosmetics.
This standard is applicable to the determination of dimethyl oxazolidinone, 7-ethyl dicyclohexyl oxazolidinone, and 5-bromo-5-nitro-1,3-dioxane in aqueous preparations, water-in-oil emulsions, and oil-in-water emulsions. Among them, the first method is applicable to the determination of 7-ethyl dicyclohexyl oxazolidinone and 5-bromo-5-nitro-1,3-dioxane in aqueous preparations, water-in-oil emulsions, and oil-in-water ointments and creams, as well as the determination of dimethyl oxazolidinone in oil-in-water emulsions. The second method is applicable to the determination of dimethyl oxazolidinone in aqueous preparations, water-in-oil emulsions, and oil-in-water emulsions.
The method detection limits and quantification limits of this standard are as follows: The detection limits of the first method are all 15.0 mg/kg, and the quantification limits are all 50.0 mg/kg; the detection limits of the second method are 15.0 mg/kg, and the quantification limits are 50.0 mg/kg.
