Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents or materials, instrumentation, experimental procedures, result calculation, recovery rate and precision, and allowable deviations of the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of 15 prohibited quinolone antibiotics in cosmetics.
This standard is applicable to the determination of enoxacin, moxifloxacin, norfloxacin, ofloxacin, florfenicol, pefloxacin, ciprofloxacin, lomefloxacin, danofloxacin, enoxacin, orbifloxacin, sarafloxacin, sparfloxacin, difloxacin, and moxifloxacin in aqueous preparations, emulsions, and non-wax-based ointments and creams in cosmetics.
This standard is not applicable to the determination of quinolone antibiotics in powder-based cosmetics.
The method detection limits for all 15 quinolone antibiotics specified in this standard are 0.15 mg/kg, and the quantitative limits are all 0.50 mg/kg.
