Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the content and migration of phthalates in paper and paper products. This standard applies to the determination of the content of 23 types of phthalates in paper and paper products, and the determination of the migration of phthalates in food contact paper, cardboard materials and products, including tissues, corrugated paper, laminated paper, waxed paper, pulp molded products, and cooking paper used in food processing. It does not apply to food contact materials and products made from regenerated cellulose film (cellophane).
