Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, technical requirements, test methods, quality assurance provisions, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for high-strength corrosion-resistant alloy rods used in oil and gas engineering. This standard applies to forged, hot-rolled, and cold-drawn (or cold-pulled) corrosion-resistant alloy rods (hereinafter referred to as "rods") with a nominal diameter of 15 mm to 400 mm used in oil and gas engineering.
