Scope
This standard specifies the principles, methods, and equipment requirements for measuring the mechanical torque rate of thermal bimetallic flat spiral elements. This standard is applicable to determining the mechanical torque rate of thermal bimetallic flat spiral elements. It is also applicable to accurately measuring the mechanical torque rate of flat spiral elements made of other materials. It can be used to determine the mechanical force of thermal bimetallic flat spiral elements. This standard can determine the optimal thickness and length of materials under given mechanical torque conditions. This standard can be used for quality testing of thermal bimetallics to determine acceptance or rejection.
