Scope
This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments, sample collection and preparation, experimental procedures, result calculation, and precision for the determination of pyridine content in pure pyridine by gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of pyridine content in pure pyridine obtained by distillation from coal tar, residual ammonia water, and sulfur ammonium mother liquor. The measurement range is ≥99.0% pure pyridine products.
