Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for mechanized production in the hybrid rapeseed mechanized operations, including terminology and definitions, pre-sowing preparation, sowing, field management, and mechanical harvesting. This document is applicable to the mechanized breeding of high-quality hybrid rapeseed. Main technical content: 7. Mechanical harvesting 7.1 Combined harvesting: When more than 90% to 95% of the seeds in the pods of the entire rapeseed plant are reddish brown, the combined harvester should be used for harvesting. It is necessary to avoid harvesting in rainy weather or when the dew has not dried. 7.2 Segmented harvesting: When 70% to 80% of the pods of the entire rapeseed plant are yellow-green to light yellow, and the branches of the pods have basically faded, the rapeseed should be cut down with a cutting and drying machine. After field drying for 5 to 7 days, the rapeseed should be mechanically picked up, threshed, and sorted.
