Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, minor repairs, major repairs, control and protection systems, trial operation, and acceptance of screw-type gate valves for water conservancy projects (with opening and closing forces ranging from 1 t to 10 t). This standard applies to the maintenance of screw-type gate valves for water conservancy projects. The maintenance of other screw-type gate valves may be carried out with reference to this standard. In addition to complying with this standard, the maintenance of screw-type gate valves for water conservancy projects shall also meet the requirements of other relevant current standards and the special requirements of the operating environment.
