Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of automated welding equipment for steel sections (hereinafter referred to as the equipment).
This standard applies to automated welding equipment for steel sections used in submerged arc welding and gas-shielded metal arc welding.
