Scope

This document specifies the requirements for microscopic examination of tissues in the diagnosis of oyster Marteilia refringens disease. It provides reagents or materials, instruments, samples, experimental steps, and result determination for tissue imprint detection and histopathological detection of the main pathogen Marteilia refringens. This document is applicable to the general survey and preliminary diagnosis of oysters infected with Marteilia refringens, as well as the epidemiological investigation and diagnosis of oysters infected with Marteilia refringens. Other shellfish can also refer to and implement it accordingly.
