Scope
This standard provides methods for measuring, evaluating, and calculating the ultraviolet radiation of lamps used for skin treatment in homes and similar settings, which are primarily used for health purposes. This standard applies to discharge lamps, namely ultraviolet fluorescent lamps and high-intensity discharge lamps. The above recommendations only concern type testing.
