Scope

This document specifies the recommended value of the brake start pressure for the pneumatic brake system of heavy commercial vehicles, the measurement method for measuring the brake start pressure of the pneumatic brake system of heavy commercial vehicles using a drum brake test bench, and the recording and interpretation of measurement data. This document is applicable to the measurement of the brake start pressure of the pneumatic brake system of N-class and O-class vehicles specified in GB/T 15089.
