GB/Z 44047-2024 Floating offshore wind turbines—Design requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies additional requirements for the evaluation of external conditions at the site of floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT) installations, as well as basic design requirements to ensure the integrity of FOWT projects. The aim is to provide an appropriate level of protection against damage to the turbines caused by various risks during their expected lifespan. This document focuses on the engineering integrity of FOWT structural components, but also addresses subsystems such as control and protection systems, internal electrical systems, and mechanical systems. If a wind turbine's floating foundation is subjected to hydrodynamic loads and supported by buoyancy and anchoring systems, the wind turbine is considered an FOWT. FOWTs consist of five main subsystems: rotor nacelle assembly (RNA), tower, floating foundation, anchoring system, and auxiliary machinery, equipment, and systems not belonging to the RNA.
