Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, preparation work, detection, and result evaluation methods for acoustic amplitude-density logging in underground gas storage wells, and is applicable to acoustic amplitude-density logging technology. This standard applies to underground gas storage wells whose working medium is compressed natural gas, and the total sulfur and hydrogen sulfide content of the natural gas should meet the technical specifications of Class I or Class II gas. The general parameters applicable to underground gas storage wells in this standard are: —— Design pressure: P≤30 MPa; —— Design temperature: -20℃～60℃; —— Vertical burial depth: ≤300 m.
