Abstract
This standard specifies the light distribution performance, test methods, and inspection rules for headlamps using gas discharge light sources in automobiles. The headlamps can be equipped with either glass light distribution lenses or plastic light distribution lenses. This standard applies to all types of headlamps using gas discharge light sources in M and N-class automobiles.
