This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and inspection reports for vacuum tube solar collectors. This standard applies to non-concentrating, all-glass vacuum tube solar collectors, glass-metal structure vacuum tube solar collectors, and heat pipe vacuum tube solar collectors that use solar radiation for heating and have liquid as the heat transfer medium.
