Abstract
This standard specifies the types and dimensions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of drive sprockets for mining circular chain drives (hereinafter referred to as "sprockets"). This standard applies to drive sprockets used in scraper conveyors, scraper reclaimers, coal plows, tunneling machines, and mining machines that use circular chains as traction chains, as well as to drive sprockets in other equipment that use circular chains as traction chains.
