GB/T 4756-2015 Active

This standard specifies the manual sampling method for collecting liquid or semi-liquid hydrocarbons, tank residues, and sediments from fixed tanks, railway tank cars, automobile tank cars, ships, barrels, drums, pumped liquid pipelines, or fueling machine nozzles.
This standard applies to the sampling of petroleum products, crude oil, and intermediate products stored in tanks under normal or near-normal pressure, or transported in liquid form within the temperature range of 0 to 200 ℃.
This standard does not apply to the sampling of special petroleum products that fall under the scope of other standards, such as electrical insulating oil (IEC 60475), liquefied petroleum gas (SH/T 0233), liquefied natural gas (GB/T 20603), and gaseous natural gas (GB/T 13609).
This standard includes existing sampling methods and types of equipment currently in use. For new equipment that may emerge in the future, as long as it can perform sampling in accordance with the requirements and methods of this standard, it can also be used in this standard.
Note: This standard may also be applicable to the sampling of most non-corrosive liquid chemical products, but strict adherence to the corresponding safety measures for these liquid chemical products is required.
