This document specifies the conventions for representing altitude and atmospheric pressure, the testing requirements and procedures for humidity, temperature, and atmospheric pressure of airborne equipment.
This document is applicable to the environmental and operational testing of aircraft airborne equipment.
This document is not applicable to the inspection of defects in aircraft airborne equipment in high-humidity environments or to localized icing simulation tests.
