This standard specifies the three-dimensional coordinate system of passenger cars, the dimensions of the driving area and passenger area, and the terms and codes. The terms in this standard apply to all types of passenger cars. This standard does not include terms and size requirements for electrical appliances, lamps, instruments, indicators, and signal devices in the driving area.
