This part of GB/T 223 specifies the determination of lead content by the spectrophotometric method of precipitating dimethylphenol orange with a carrier. This part is applicable to the determination of lead content in carbon steel, alloy steel, high-temperature alloy, and precision alloy with a mass fraction of 0.000 5% to 0.25% lead.
