Abstract
This part of GB/T 9996 specifies the inspection method for the appearance quality of yarn on the blackboard, comparing the uniformity of yarn and its appearance quality with the standard sample photos. This part uses the separate evaluation method to evaluate the uniformity of yarn and the total number of cotton knots and impurities on the blackboard. This part is applicable to combed and carded pure cotton yarns, as well as cotton-synthetic fiber blended yarns used in ring spinning and knitting. This part is not applicable to woolen yarns.
