This standard specifies the energy efficiency measurement requirements, testing conditions, testing items and methods, evaluation criteria for testing results, and testing reports for LCD and DLP projectors with high-pressure mercury lamps or metal halide lamps as light sources, whose main function is projection.
This standard also applies to solid-state light source projectors with energy efficiency labels and projectors using silicon-based LCOS as display devices.
This standard does not apply to integrated projection units consisting of projection screens and projectors, or professional projectors used for cinema projection.
This standard applies to the supervision and testing of projector energy efficiency. For commissioned testing, this standard can be referred to. Units that produce and sell projectors can also conduct testing in accordance with this standard.
The projectors subject to testing should be products that have passed the manufacturer's self-inspection, or goods imported and sold by sellers.
