GB/T 19001-2016 Quality management systems—Requirements
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for a quality management system for the following organizations:
a) Need to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations;
b) Through the effective application of the system, including the process of system improvement, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations, aim to enhance customer satisfaction.
All requirements specified in this standard are general and are intended to apply to organizations of all types, sizes, and those providing different products and services.
Note 1: The term "product" or "service" in this standard only applies to products and services intended to be provided to customers or required by customers.
Note 2: Legal and regulatory requirements can be referred to as statutory requirements.
