Abstract
This document specifies the dimensional parameters, transmission characteristics, mechanical performance, and environmental performance requirements for bend-insensitive single-mode optical fibers (hereinafter referred to as B6 class single-mode optical fibers) used in communication optical cables and other information transmission equipment. It describes the corresponding test methods and numerical rounding rules. This document is applicable to the design, development, production, and testing of B6 class single-mode optical fibers.
