Abstract
This document outlines all the hazards posed by clamping devices used to secure milling cutters and circular saw blades in woodworking machines, and provides design requirements for these clamping devices to address these hazards.
This document applies to clamping devices used to secure milling cutters and circular saw blades in woodworking machines, and does not apply to clamping flanges on milling cutter spindles and circular saw machines.
This document does not address the hazards posed by the connection of clamping devices to woodworking machines.
