Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, performance requirements, test conditions, and test methods for electronic stability control systems in commercial vehicles.
This standard applies to M2 and M3, N2, and N3 class vehicles with a maximum design gross weight of more than 3,500 kg that are equipped with electronic stability control systems.
Note: The abbreviation for electronic stability control systems is ESC, and this abbreviation will be used throughout the following text.
