This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fully enclosed electric motor-compressors (hereinafter referred to as compressors) used in household and similar applications of CO2 refrigerant heat pumps and water heaters.
