GB/T 1479.1-2011 Metallic powders—Determination of apparent density—Part 1:Funnal method
Abstract
This part of GB/T 1479 specifies the method of measuring the bulk density of metal powders using a funnel under standard conditions.
This part is applicable to metal powders that flow freely through a funnel with a diameter of 2.5 mm. If the powder has difficulty passing through a diameter of 2.5 mm, but can flow freely through a diameter of 5.0 mm, the method can also be used.
In Part 2 of this standard (see GB/T 1479.2), the method of measuring the bulk density of powders that cannot pass through a diameter of 5.0 mm is specified.
