GB 15146.2-2008 Nuclear criticality safety for fissile materials outside reactors—Part 2:Basic technical practices and subcritical limits for handling,processing and operations with fissile materials
Abstract
This part of GB 15146 stipulates the basic technical rules for the operation, processing, and handling of fissile materials outside reactors, as well as the subcritical limits of some simple geometric shapes of fissile material units. It also sets requirements for establishing the validity and applicability of calculation methods for nuclear criticality safety evaluation. The basic requirements for nuclear criticality safety administrative management are described in GB 15146.1. This part applies to the operation, processing, and handling of fissile materials outside reactors. This part does not apply to the assembly operations of fissile materials under controlled conditions (such as criticality experiments).
