Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for gapless metal oxide surge arresters (hereinafter referred to as surge arresters) used in high-voltage direct current converter stations. This standard applies to surge arresters used in high-voltage direct current converter stations, but it does not apply to gas-insulated metal-enclosed surge arresters.
